What would you gain from living abroad? And what would be one downside of living abroad?

 

I've always dreamed about living abroad.

If I live abroad, I would experience a lot of things.

I would make foreigner friends with different cultures and learn how to live in an other country.

Plus, I can gain broader perspectives and learn how to solve a variety of situations.

If I live abroad, definitely I have to look after my way of living.

Actually, When I travel, I tend to research about many things in detail (like where I am going to go, where I am going to stay, what I am going to eat, what I am going to buy and stuff)

But, I experience situations that I don't expect.

For example, Bus doesn't work or I am lost.

I think Travelling abroad is not as same as living abroad.

I think living abroad is much harder than travelling.

So, If I live abroad, I have to know an other country's language and culture and I have to deal with problems on my own.

The down side of living abroad is that, day by day, I have to get acquainted with the new culture.

And Sometimes situations that I don't expect would be happened.

But, I think that in my life, living abroad will be valuable and will be full of enriching experiences.

• To get acquainted with = getting to know or being familiar with something or someone
  • Getting acquainted with a new culture isn't an easy job
  • It took me years to get acquainted with that new language
• Usually when talking about your "perspective" we use the singular form.
  • I can get a broader perspective if I live abroad.
  • That man had a very narrow perspective of life
  • Her perspective on this matter is quite positive.
