South Korean elementary school students say "YouTuber" is one of their top dream jobs.

한국의 초등학생들은 "유튜버"가 그들의 최고의 꿈의 직업 중에 하나라고 말한다

The Ministry of Education and Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training surveyed 27,000 students in Korean elementary, middle, and high schools. 

교육부와 한국 직업 능력 개발원이 한국의 초, 중, 고교 학생 2만 7천명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시했다 The results, released in December, showed that "athlete" was the most popular dream job among elementary school students, with nine percent choosing the job.

"Teacher," the top job for the last six years, fell to second place, followed by "doctor," "chef," and "YouTuber."

"Professional gamer" was number nine, while "scientist" fell to 12th place, leaving the top 10 for the first time since 2013. 

"프로게이머"는 9위로, "과학자"는 12위로 떨어져 2013년 이후로 처음으로 10위권 밖으로 밀려났다

This is the first time "YouTuber" has been in the top 10.

Korean YouTubers can make more than $1 million a year.

Na Dong-hyun, one of Korea's top YouTubers, runs the gaming channel Great Library, which has nearly two million subscribers.

"I was at a lecture for elementary school students," he said on LAN Life in July.
